| We're really flexible people, and we love doing this. We want you to be downright EXCITED about our contributions to your projects! Before you contact us, here are a few policies concerning soundtrack projects that we've instituted to keep ourselves half-way sane. |
| When you call (or email), you should know not only where the music and sound will go and how long the cues should be, but also what style you'd like and what message you're trying to communicate. |
| A minimum of 48 hours is required to produce each minute of electronic music. More time may be required for projects involving acoustic recording. An additional fee of 50% must be charged for rush jobs. |
| Rates for each of our services are available upon request. Estimates are always provided, since each project involves its own combination of variables. For example, if a live ensemble is desired, the price must be increased to absorb the costs of musicians, preparing parts, etc. |
| If the cue is for use in an audiovisual production, then a visual reference, such as a VHS video or QuickTime movie, must be provided to ensure that the soundtrack we create is of the proper length and rhythmically congruent with the visual component. |
| Also, a copy of the final, fully assembled production (ie, the version that is sold or used by the client) is considered part of our compensation. |
